| LEGO "CREATION NATION" Building Event
Friday, August 16-Sunday, August 18, 2013 The LEGO store at Hillsdale invites children, adults and families to participate in building a large-scale map of the United States using LEGO bricks. This three day, fee building event is entitled "LEGO Creation Nation" and is a great change for kids and adults to use their imagination and build with other LEGO fans.
Children are encouraged to construct a small scale model that represents their favorite city or place in the US. These models are added to the the large map made entirely of brick. Throughout the weekend, there will be buildilng competitions, free LEGO giveaways, raffles and the opportunity to create a large-scale model with hundres of other builders. Macy's Center Court.

| PALERSIZE - ADVENTURES IN FITNESS
Thursday, July 18th, 2013 Jump in for kid-size fun and fitness through music, movement and imaginative play. With the help of chiffon ribbons, tambourines, hula hoops and more, you'll sail away in a mystical boat, ride a magic carpet and make believe you're a jungle animal on the prey. You can even huddle upon the football field to cheer on the game. Just bring your sneakers and your imagination and you're ready to go. It's the perfect kid's summer stay-cation activity! | BABY EXPO HOSTED BY SAN MATEO DAILY JOURNAL
Sunday, October 2, 2013 Hillsdale Shopping Center and the San Mateo Daily Journal are hosting a special Baby Event on Sunday from 12:00-3:00 pm in Macy's Center Court. This free community service will feature local baby experts who will provide resources and tips on financial planning, nutrition, products, health and fitness. | "TALK WITH A PHARMACIST" Day

The San Mateo County Pharmacists Association and Hillsdale Shopping Center will host the 16h Annual “Talk with a Pharmacist Day” as a public service to promote consumer awareness of the importance to taking medications correctly, and to consult with the pharmacist when in doubt. During this years’ program, pharmacists are available to answer questions about prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, screen for high cholesterol, diabetes and osteoporosis, take blood pressure, provide patient health education and offer professional advice. 10:00-3:00 pm.
